A great amount of time and money goes into custom designing an ADU from scratch, which can make building an ADU quite costly. XDG ADUs has already developed the plans for each model, so you don’t have to spend the time and money to work with an architect, one-on-one. You simply select a model and the plans can quickly be submitted to your city for approval. This greatly speeds up the process and reduces the expense of paying an architect to draw up a new set of plans.

It's important to remember that some of these items may be necessary a building permit can be granted and will need to be supplied by a third-party consultant or contractor.
